SAVANNAH,

March/April
Day 1:
Depart
early AM to head for Savannah. Stop along the way for lunch and arrive around 4 PM. Check into your hotel and
rest before going downtown for dinner.
Tonight enjoy a fantastic dinner abroad the Savannah Riverboat Queen.
Everyone will enjoy this 2-hour gospel music dinner cruise featuring a southern
buffet and entertainment from some of the areas most popular groups.
Day 2:
This morning begin by having breakfast at your hotel. Then meet your tour
guide to begin an exciting motorcoach and short walking tour of Historical
Savannah. Visit St. John’s
Cathedral, Owens Thomas House Museum and much more.
Lunch will be on your own today down on River Street
After lunch, resume touring and then visit the Famous Byrd Cookie
Company.
Tonight for dinner go to Johnny Harris Restaurant on Victory Drive for some of the BEST food you have had in a while!! Johnny Harris is famous for
their BBQ and Brunswick Stew. This restaurant has been in Savannah for many, many years. A true
Savannah favorite.
Day 3:
Begin again with breakfast at your hotel. Then go down the coast to the
Golden Isles where you will have a motorcoach tour of St. Simon’s Island.
Lunch on your own on St. Simon’s.
After lunch have a tram tour of Jekyll Island
and allow some time to buy souvenirs before heading back to Savannah .
Tonight have dinner at Pelican Point Seafood. This is one of the biggest
seafood buffets you have ever seen and all fresh!! Prime Rib also available on
buffet.
Day 4:
Breakfast once again to begin the day and then meet your guide for a
great Low Country tour. Included in the Low Country tour you will visit The
Wormsloe Plantation.
After your Low Country tour, go to Barne’s Restaurant for lunch (on
your own). Then proceed to Fort Pulaski to tour the old fort.
Dinner tonight is at Lady and Son Restaurant where you will have a buffet
style dinner that you will talk about for a long time to come!!
After dinner, proceed to the Musical Theatre to see the live performance
of “Jukebox Journey.” This show is in the old Savannah Theatre. This is the
oldest theatre in the United States that is still in operation.
Day 5:
One more
time have your breakfast before departing for home with some great memories of
our time together in Historic Savannah, Georgia.
